Created to support law enforcement, DRAGON-Spotter plays a key role in improving how we spot and respond to grooming online, helping to protect children from harm.
About DRAGON-Spotter
DRAGON-Spotter is a cutting-edge linguistics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool designed to detect, prioritise, and support the investigation of online grooming behaviours within seized devices. DRAGON-Spotter identifies the subtle and often manipulative tactics used by offenders – from isolating children emotionally to expressing sexual intent, without replacing human judgement.
The tool has been co-developed and UX-tested with law enforcement around the world so as to ensure it works effectively in real-world policing contexts.
We have successfully completed a number of deployment projects in collaboration with UK law enforcement agencies. These projects have demonstrated DRAGON-Spotter’s potential to significantly reduce analyst workload and improve early detection of grooming behaviours.
DRAGON-Spotter is designed to streamline law enforcement efforts by making it easier to detect and manage online grooming cases. The tool’s results can help users:
